HMRC VAT Payment Deadlines and Dates
Since quarterly VAT return dates are calculated on a case by case basis, you’ll need first to assess when you registered for VAT, and when your accounting period starts and finishes.
The rules stipulate you have a full calendar month plus seven days from the end of your accounting period to complete your VAT return and pay in full. All VAT returns must now be made electronically.
