The government is offering cash grants to eligible businesses in what they perceive as the worst affected sectors: retail, hospitality and leisure.
The amount of grant available will depend upon the rateable value of the premises they inhabit, but will not be more than £25,000
Businesses whose property has a rateable value of £15,000 or less could be entitled to up to £10,000.
If the rateable value is from £15,000 to £51,000 the grant may be up to the full £25,000
- These grants are for business properties rather than per business.
- There is only one grant per property.
- The property must be wholly or ‘mainly’ in use.
- If your rateable value exceeds £51,000, you do not qualify.
