You can choose to send a letter in your own name or in joint names. You may have a debt in joint names or want to write to your creditors together because you have worked out a joint budget.

I am writing to you concerning our company’s financial difficulties.

I would appreciate it if you could hold action on the above account for 30 days to give us breathing space so I can work out a way of dealing with our debts.

I would also be grateful if you would freeze any interest or charges during this period so that our situation doesn’t worsen. I will contact you again within 30 days with a proposal on how to deal with our repayments in a way that satisfies both our businesses.
